You will learn

Learn how to integrate Flowhub, a leading cannabis POS platform, with Klaviyo. This integration allows you to automatically:

  • Sync order data and customer profiles from Flowhub to Klaviyo
  • Track Placed Order and Ordered Product events for targeted marketing
  • Sync your Flowhub product catalog for dynamic product recommendations
  • Perform a one-time 2-year historic backfill of orders and customers
  • Sync email consent

Before you begin

You'll need a Flowhub Client ID and API key for each brand you operate. This integration supports single locations all the way up to multi-location, multi-state dispensaries.

How to request your API keys

Fill out the Flowhub API Integration Request form.

Pricing: $49 per location per month.

Integrate Flowhub with Klaviyo

1Request your Flowhub Client ID and API key

Fill out the Flowhub API Integration Request form to request a Client ID and API key for your account. If you're a multi-state operator, you will likely receive multiple client IDs and API keys.

Note: Request all of your credential sets up front so install is one pass.

2Sign up at KAV Labs and install Flowhub

Create your account here to begin the FlowHub install.

3Authorize Klaviyo via OAuth

Click Connect to Klaviyo. Review the requested permissions — read and write access to profiles, events, lists, and catalog — and click Allow. You'll be redirected back to KAV Labs.

4Paste your Flowhub credentials

Enter your Flowhub Client ID and API key. If you operate in multiple states, click Add another credential set and paste each set in turn. We validate every set against the Flowhub API immediately so issues surface before install completes.

5Pick the locations you want syncing

Locations from every credential set appear in one unified list. Just select the ones you want syncing — you don't have to track which credential set a given location belongs to.

6Start your 14-day free trial

Complete Stripe checkout to start your free trial. You won't be charged for 14 days, and you can cancel any time during the trial without being billed.

After install, here's what happens automatically:

  • Customers, orders, and product catalog sync every 30 minutes
  • A 2-year historic backfill runs in the background

No. Cannabis licenses are state-scoped so Flowhub issues one credential set per state, but you only do one install. Add each credential set during setup and every location across every state rolls up into the same Klaviyo account, the same Configuration page, and the same subscription.

Customers, orders, and the product catalog all sync on a ~30 minute cadence. There are no real-time Flowhub webhooks, so everything runs on polling.

On first install we backfill 2 years (730 days) of orders along with all customer profiles and the full product catalog. The backfill runs in the background — high-volume brands may take several hours to finish.

Profiles must have either a valid email or a US-parseable phone number to sync to Klaviyo. Customers with neither are skipped. Their orders are still tracked internally but no Klaviyo profile or event is created until contact information appears on the Flowhub record.

One subscription per Klaviyo account, regardless of how many Flowhub credential sets you connect. Locations across all states roll up into a single bill at $49 per location per month.

Yes — manage selected locations any time from the Configuration page. Adding a location automatically fires a scoped backfill for just that location so its historical orders and customers flow into Klaviyo without re-syncing the rest of your account.

Open the Configuration page, edit the credential set, and paste the new Client ID and API key. We re-validate against Flowhub on save and the next sync run picks up the new credentials automatically — no re-backfill required.
